applying coatings and finishes to yarns and fibers to enhance their
properties or performance. Capabilities include:
Dyed Fiberglass Yarns
With unlimited design possibilities, Dyed Fiberglass Yarns are used
as tracers, markers in thermocouple cables and in woven fiberglass products
for quick identification of fabric weight. Industrial applications include
fiberglass reinforced pipes and composite applications for recreational
products such as hockey sticks, snowboards, tennis rackets, boat paddles
and golf shafts.
PTFE Fiberglass Coated
Yarns
PTFE Coated Fiberglass is used as braid over cables for aerospace applications,
belting and cable core fill material. It is available in a variety of
colors; sintered or unsintered.
AntiStatic Yarns
Fil–Tec manufactures modified fibers of Polyamide 6.6 and HT polyester
with antistatic or conductive properties. Applications include protective
clothing, air filtration, floor coverings (carpet), shoes and sports
apparel.

Fil–Tec manufactures a premium line of non–waxed dental floss products. Fil–Tec’s dental floss has a flat profile for easier insertion between teeth.
Non–Wicking String for Feminine Hygiene Market
Fil–Tec manufactures non–wicking biodegradable tampon string. Our proprietary non–wicking finish has been used in the market for years and provides a more consistent product since each individual end is coated.
