PTFE Coated Fiberglass

This product has been tested at temperatures of –400° to 1000° F and it will not burn. It is unaffected when exposed to most acids, alkalis and solvents, and has high tensile strength.

Fil-Tec’s PTFE coated fiberglass sewing thread is used in fiberglass filter bags as well as sewing operations where a high temperature, inorganic, flexible, and high strength thread is required. It may also be used for contract furniture, insulation blankets and heater cable devices.
