Filtration

Fil-Tec is the leading producer world wide of threads for dry filtration applications. Fil-Tec's product line includes; PTFE coated fiberglass thread, bonded Polyester thread and bobbins, bonded Nomex and bonded PPS. Fil-Tec also produces a variety of non-thread products for the filtration industry including small diameter fiberglass rope, dust collector door seals and ground wire. PTFE Coated Fiberglass
This product has been tested at temperatures of –400° to 1000° F and it will not burn. It is unaffected when exposed to most acids, alkalis and solvents, and has high tensile strength.

Polyester
BPT 69 bonded Polyester twisted thread is available in Yellow and White on 1 lb. & 2 lb. spools. The 69 Polyester bobbins are available in styles G & M in Yellow and White.

Nomex
This product will not melt or decompose up to 700° F. It is also resistant to bacteria and organic solvents.

Bonded Polyphenylene Sulfide Monocord (PPS)
This non–flammable Monocord thread has a melt point of 545° F and a limited oxygen index of 35.
It is also resistant to chlorine bleach, chemicals, sunlight and acid.
