Fil–Tec is proud to announce the development
of our NEW Ultra Core Candlewick. This product line will finally grant
candle makers their independence from using metal core wicks.
Fil–Tec’s Ultra Core is designed with a special filament core to give
the candle maker the rigidity they need during the wax pour. Since the
core of this advanced wick consists of fibers, not metal, it does not
leave behind the unsightly metal core protruding from the flame as it
burns. This allows the wick to self–regulate and minimizes carbon mushrooming.
This wick is an excellent choice for containers, pillars and votives.
Our Ultra Core candlewick is available on 95% break–free spools or waxed
and tabbed to your manufacturing requirements.

Ultra Core Wicks
Our candlewick product description is very “user–friendly.” The description represents the pool diameter in a 140°F melt point straight cut paraffin wax. This method allows the user to easily compare wick size and performance. This chart provides the candle maker a starting point for wick selection. Your wick selection will depend on wax blend, color and scent additives.
